Talking is great
Yes, I am up way too late. This after vowing that I would take a nap today (i.e. yesterday) and failing to do so. Cameron has been having trouble sleeping tonight; he woke up snuffly, then thirsty, then wet, then I dunno. I went in there this last time and he started to gear up for a tantrum, so before he could get going I picked him up and whispered soothingly: "It's okay, just try to relax and tell me what you want. Just tell me what you want. Relax and tell me what you want." I assumed that if he said anything coherent, it would be that he wanted to nurse, but then clear as day, he said, "Change [my] diaper."
It wasn't all that wet, but that is what he wanted. He immediately calmed down, and when I was done he went right back to sleep! Wow.
